Endorsement Announcement: Ed Mooney for President of CWA International

Dear Members,

We’ve always emphasized that strong leadership is crucial for our union’s progress. Today, we are at an important crossroads where our decisions can shape the future of our organization and ensure a prosperous journey ahead for all our members.

With this in mind, we are proud to endorse Ed Mooney, our current Vice President of CWA District 2-13, for the position of President of CWA International.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Ed. His unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to advocating for our members have consistently stood out. Ed’s leadership is marked by his accessibility and responsiveness to our needs, making him a reliable ally for our union.

We endorse Ed Mooney for the role of President of CWA International because we believe in his ability to lead us forward. We believe in his vision of a stronger union, one that fosters an environment of mutual respect, transparency, and collective progress.

OFFICIAL BALLOT RESULTS

2018 CWA and AT&T Extension Agreement

CWA Local 13552 members have voted against the adoption of the 2018 CWA and AT&T Extension Agreement. The voting total will be sent to the national organization along with other locals representing legacy AT&T members. The nationwide results will be announced January 20th 2022.

YES – 18 (47.4%)

NO – 20 (52.6%)
